I saw Beowulf and I thought it was a masterpiece, why critics of garbage and the Oscars is not the honor?
I saw Juno and There Will Be Blood, and thought that there were better movies. Critics have lost or left has his desire themed movies eclipsed his ability to appreciate anything solidly done?
Well, first off, "Beowulf" earned mostly good reviews from critics, so I'm not sure why you are hitting them. The Oscars did not nominate for best animated film, because there is some controversy over the "motion capture" technique used by the film. Some traditional leaders think is "pure" entertainment and have a bias against her. More than anything, is likely to remain "Beowulf" to get any support from the Academy.
