Why not Chewbacca get a medal in the final of Star Wars?
He was rebuffed in 1977 and then was denied again when the film was reissued in the '90s. I mean George digitally added as 4 billion of robots and aliens, but you can add a small medal Chewbacca? If I was Chewbacca think it would be annoying that I risked my life and not get a medal. What, they only had 2 and that's it?
If you read books, Chewie likes to keep a low profile that did not like much attention. He hated people of his spotlight on it. One more thing. On a boat when the medals are awarded for an act has given his crew not to the title to every officer, was Captain Han, Chewie was the copilot. And it was Han who shot Vaders not improviser Chewie.
