What can a typical office employee write off in taxes.?
There must be many things that everyday people can write off in taxes, even if it is a loop hole. Example: If you sell or stock steel, anything that is on a railcar with rail tracks is not taxed by the tax man. The rail tracks do not have to have a function to move the boxcar nor do they have to go anywhere…they can be 10 ft for all the tax man cares..but thats the code. Anything like that for us every day lads????
only for those every day lads that own rail cars! Some unreimbursed employee expenses can be take as a miscellaneous deduction if you itemize your deductions on a Schedule A. What you call a “loop hole” is the result of someone lobbying Congress or at least a Congressman to provide relief regarding some sort of expense they are burdened with in their business or industry. “Every day lads” don’t tend to have those type connections.
