Does the spring automatic belt tensioner back into position as soon as you loosen your belt and ratchet stop?
I'm trying to find out Mine broke. When rotated clockwise to loose belt stays there. Thanks in advance.
Yes, as soon as you let the tension outside it must spring again. spring is what keeps the belt tight.
