Which do you prefer at your wedding or party,a traditional cake?or a cheese board cake made of whole cheese?
Im doing a survey and I wanted to know which type of cake your would prefer having at your wedding or party, the normal frosted or fondant cake, or a five tier cheese board cake decorated with red and green grapes and some of the fowers from the bride’s bouquet or the theme of the party?
My train of thought is the more food the better, so I would have both… you could serve the traditional cake immediately after dinner service, and then have the cheese and fruit later in the evening, not necessarily in a cake ‘shape’ but as a mini-snack buffet spread. I’ve been to several weddings where ‘snacks’ were served later in the night, after the guests have danced/drank more and have built up a small appetite for a snack.
But, if I had to choose just one, I would want a traditional cake, it’s always nice to end dinner with something sweet, that’s just me
