Nascar Action
What HDTV is best for watching sports (NASCAR, football and baseball) and action movies?

Ive been looking to buy a new high-definition television. I read a lot of comments. I understand that most TV shows will be fine in any 1080p model, but what be the best quality image for NASCAR, football and action movies. Ive looked at DLP TV and read all the and for watching sports, but they seem to be prone to breakage or malfunction. Comments LCD seem to talk about blur with high-speed action. What about plasma? Id love to hear views and experience on all 3 types. Thanks for your help.

DLP and plasma technology are so close to the CRT, you'll find. They are near instant updating, to control the movement with great rapidity. So for this are the same reality. LCD has problems with motion blur with fast motion. It is also called the effect phantom, because a ghost road behind the fast-moving object (such as can not load as fast as the object moves in camera / screen). You can counteract is getting higher end LCD with 120Hz refresh rates (better but still not very well) or 240Hz refresh rate (supposedly Very Good, but wait till you see the price ouch). Plasma will give first-class image and the top of the first processing of motion. All you need to worry about is the conditioning of the TV. Modern plasmas do not experience the exhaustion of the problems that is used for some years. But the attention of television should not be removed. During the first 100-200 hours operating crank the brightness and contrast (picture) settings down. Then optimize and enjoy the pleasure of plasma. Also, avoid the inclination Than Ever. Keep always upright (so if you have to move, do not tilt). DLP – can be a great movie. And the components of TV are probably never going to die on you. Always There is a saying that if you buy a DLP that will be the last TV purchase. You need to replace Light Bulbs and air filters clean though. Either you can do same. The air filters should be cleaned every month or two. The bulbs will last for various lengths (depending on the bulb, the amount of television they watch, etc. like the light bulb). That could take 1-2 years, or that could last 5 years. They are about $ 250 each, so the factor of long-term costs in its budget / Mathematics. But DLP is a dying technology. Only Samsung and Mitsubishi actually make it (I would stick to Samsung myself). How long does it keep doing though is another matter. The bulbs may be purchased for years if I'm sure. Just something you might want to consider. For TV viewing scenario that you described, I lean towards Plasma for the combination of image quality and where the technology is. Good plasmas can run 24 / 7 365 to 30 + years before dying. So no, as you are getting a TV that needs to be replaced in 10 years or so. It should last as long as you need. I would with the Pioneer Elite Kuro, Pioneer Kuro and Panasonic Viera, however. The Pioneers are super expensive, but are getting cheaper, now that Pioneer has announced its exit from the business TV. Panasonic Viera are first class and even more affordable.
