I connected my TV to my laptop. How can I make that show the same?

Now it seems to be fixed so you can move things from the laptop monitor television like a separate monitor. I want that mirror each other. I am running Windows Vista and connects me with a VGA cable.

Go to display settings in your control panel. Then click the "resolution change". You should be presented with an photo of two of its monitors and will have a list. The list is displayed, select "duplicate". Now you have to "extend the screen" I guess. Just change it and it should work fine.
