What is the difference between these two?

What is the difference between the Leapfrog Leappad and the Leapfrog Read and Write LeapPad? And can you use the same books on both of them?

Hmmm, I think my brother has both, but I remember the LeapPad just is a thing where you use a pen and touch different things on the page with the pen and the voice tells you what it is/or its a book that you can learn to read. The Leapfrog Read and write is I’m pretty sure a book you hook into some kind of Leapfrog and it explains to your child what the instructions are and your child writes them down/helps your child read.
