Gas in a diesel vehicle, HELP?
Hi, I'm new here and am in need of serious help and advice. I have a 2006 VW Jetta TDI diesel, which has 14.5 liters of diesel fuel according to specifications. A Shell service station attendant filled the tank of 14.6 gallons of gasoline. Do not know how he got that much part of, but anyway, the car ran for about 4-5 blocks and then the engine off. The car was new 10 months ago and now has 14,800 miles on it. What should the dealer mechanics to repair and guarranty normal life of the engine without problems in the future?
