How to cast rust?
I have a 1:35 scale Die Cast car and I need to rust badly. I know it sounds strange. I badly worn and the paint, taking in some of them completely off. Then I soaked in salt water and lemon juice for a couple of days and now have to endure. I know die cast does not rust easily so any other suggestions that help greatly.
What the "false" junk die modelers cast do is use the oxide paint color. You can make Your Own "rust paint" scraping rust from iron and mix with nail polish or a small amount of varnish.
