If a piece of coal from a coal truck smashed the windshield of my car while driving are responsible?

I was driving and a lump of coal flew out of a coal truck and broke my windshield. I only have liability on my truck and wondered if the truck company coal to pay to fix it. I heard that they do, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know?

No, your fault because you are driving dangerously close …. unless the truck has not even has a sticker saying be back x amount of feet … In addition, many of them say not liable for waste …. u know if the company owning the truck, give em a call, cannot hurt … Good luck!
